Book Of Stories (Home Recordings 1998–2003) gathers 12 previously unreleased songs Neal Casal recorded alone on an analog 8-track, restored from the original tapes. Made over long nights in Hope, New Jersey, and later Los Angeles, they're intimate, fully realized, and pure Neal. PRAISE FOR SHOW PONY BY TODD CALDWELL

“ Todd Caldwell is a brilliant musician and a dear friend of mine. We have worked together for the last 15 years. I have great respect for him as a human being, a fabulous musician, and a producer. His new album, out on Blackwing Music, is truly exceptional. Give it a listen, and then you’ll know.”

PRAISE FOR SLEEPING SOLDIERS OF LOVE BY JOHNNY IRION

There is a kindness and a positivity to it that I really enjoy, especially in these potentially dark times in which we live. When I listen to this, it makes me feel good about things, and what more could you ask of a record than that?”

PRAISE FOR GREAT WESTERN HANGOVER BY WILLY TEA TAYLOR

If you asked me point blank who I thought was the best songwriter of our generation regardless of genre, scene, commercial or critical success, I would tell you without hesitation that it is Willy ‘Tea’ Taylor… His ability to enrich the perspective of life and all of its many wonders is unparalleled.
